I realized the other day that blogging has opened up opportunities to me that I would never have been able to have otherwise: I have met wonderful women and formed precious friendships. Recently I also was asked to do a guest post, a first for me. I have been blessed with a support system that is critical for me. Experience in writing on a more professional level and learning about topics that I am passionate about is another benefit.
Obviously blogging is not the reason for all of this but only the means. God chose this avenue to fill holes in my life that were always blaringly apparent to me. And for this I am so thankful!
I have also seen and known women who have gotten a job, started a business, and become the basis for a movie because of their love for blogging. Would you please share with us what opportunities have become open to you because of blogging? I’d love to hear all about them!

May you be abundantly blessed.
I am so thankful that the Lord has seen fit to allow me to work from home. It has always been my dream to work at home while being there for my kids and it is coming true all thanks to the Lord.
I feel like blogging for me was a direct answer of prayer for the need for more fellowship/friendship in my life. I have met some of the most loving, creative, and inspiring women through this process who have blessed me beyond what I had ever hoped for. I LOVE it and Him who continues to bless my life more abundantly then I could ever think of deserving..Blessings to you, Debbie
Loved your Thankful Thursday post. Blogging has given me the opportunity to make people smile. I was always told that I should have been a stand up comic but since that isn’t going to happen, my blog has brought people to me and me to people and I think they stick around because most of the time they will leave with a smile.
I can’t say that every post is a bowl of laughs but I seem to find humor in the mundane and people seem to like reading about it. LOL

Your blog is wonderful, and I appreciate your words today. I began blogging to discover decorating ideas, and to share my tea photos and information, but am discovering that my true purpose for being here is to be encouraged by the writings of other Christians. I don’t go to church regularly anymore, and miss the fellowship, but have found it here. Being with like-minded people is an essential part of being healthy spiritally. I still enjoy tea and decorating, but my heart belongs to the Lord, and blogging has given me a place to express my love for Him.
God bless,
Mary
Lovely post, Kelly! I am so grateful, also, for the friends I have met through blogging–wonderful beautiful Christian women, like yourself, who I would have never met (surely) otherwise! I am continually enriched by their lives and challenged by their thoughts and writing. The opportunity that blogging has also afforded me is to fulfill my dream of being a writer, coupled with my calling to mentor moms, specifically stay-at-home Homeschooling moms. I praise God for the opportunity He has given me through blogging to reach out to a much larger number of moms across the country and the world with encouragement, support and love. And thank you, Courtney and Kelly, so much for Faithful Bloggers–what a blessing!
Faithfully-yours,
Wendy
