Writing the Journey

I spend most of my time writing about the things that I’m passionate about. Lately I have spent the bulk of my time writing inspirational pieces for Christians to get them back on the path of seeking the face of God. We get distracted and most of what I write about is dealing with the pain, stress, and distractions in life that cause us to wander away from God. Taking the step back towards Him can be the hardest, but often the most rewarding step of our lives.

My mother passed away two years ago at the end of this month. She was not only my mom, she was my spiritual mentor. Her gift to me her last Christmas was her prayer journals. They were so rich that I knew I needed to share with our children. But how? I really believe God lead me to start blogging. I am a timid writer so I write my blog under the name Ann Cocktale who was my imaginary friend as a child.(it’s rather freeing to write as Ann I tell little life stories and include wisdom from Mother’s journals. I want her faith to bless others as much as they have blessed me.

The Sublime Truth
